2005 48+ Championship Highlights
The Astros defeated the Reds, 7-2, to take home the 48+ inaugural season championship.
Doug Harrison was the winning pitcher for the Astros, shut out the Reds for 5 innings, giving up 3 hits, with 5 K's. Kevin Riley closed, holding the Reds to 2 runs over the final 4 innings.
The Astros had a narrow 1-0 lead after 4 innings, then scored 6 runs in the next 2 innings to close out the scoring. John Reddington was 2 for 3 for the night, with a double, 2 RBIs, and 1 score.
Including the championship game, the Astros were 6-4 for the season.
