Player of the Week
June 25th 2009 -

Pitching, Pitching, Pitching.  Staff aces took control in the 18+ and 28+ last weekend.

More on that soon, but first we need to catch up from the previous week.

The 28+ player of the week for 6/14 was David Rieffenberg of the Dodgers who shut down the first place Expos on 3 hits, striking out 11 in his complete game win.  He also brought a big stick to the game, going 2 for 4 with a 2 run Home Run.

Speaking of big sticks Ray Starnes of the 45+ Braves became the oldest player in the history of the IABL to hit a Home Run.  A veteran of 10 seasons, 64 year old Ray accomplished the feat with a wood bat.
