Player of the Week
June 11th 2009 -

Pitching was the story in the 18+ this week, while in the 28+ the baseballs were flying over fences at an alarming rate.

18+ Player of the Week
Eric Teall
Arrows
28+ Player of the Week
Paul Beck
Bulldogs

Entering the game in the 4th inning with his team trailing by 3 runs, Eric proceeded to retire the first 16 batters he faced, not allowing a base runner until the 9th.  He finished the game facing only one batter over the minimum, striking out 11 to add to his league-leading total.

Paul led the way for the Bulldogs in their exciting walk off win against the 28+ Champion Expos.

He was 3 for 4 with a stolen base and 5 RBI coming from 2 Home Runs.  One of the Home Runs a monster shot over the outside wall at Manual that probably hasn’t returned to earth yet.
