Pitching for the Hurricanes, Tommy threw a no hitter against the Reds.

The Canes 2009 draft pick notched 10 K’s in seven innings of work, allowing only 5 base runners in a 12-0 victory.

 

John led the Titans to an opening day one run victory over the Cardinals.  He threw a complete game, scattering 5 hits.  Showing a little winter rust, he hit 3 batters but he helped himself at the plate going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and a stolen base

Beavers skipper Bryston Bangel was 4 for 5 on the day with 5 RBI and 2 stolen bases.

Kenny Hughes of the Hurricanes went 3 for 4 with a Single, Double, Triple and 4 RBI

The Arrows Jeff Harp also had ¾ of the cycle with a Double, Triple and Home Run, scoring 3 Runs and driving in 4.

Eric Smith of the Arrows followed up his player of the week honors with a 3 for 5 game, scoring 2 Runs and knocking in 3.

Brad Sparks picked up a W for the Dodgers allowing only 3 hits and striking out 10 in 5 innings.

Dean Hill of the Braves kicked off the season with 4 for 4 and 2 RBI

Tony Harden had 6 K’s in 2 IP and went 2 for 4 with a Home Run in his 28+ debut.
 
Kurt Corbin lead the way for the Expos on opening day with 3 for 3 and 3 RBI.

Tryouts and draft for the 2012 Season will be held on Saturday, February 18 at 12:00

The Indiana Baseball Academy will once again be the host for IABL tryouts.  The IBA is located at 9760 Mayflower Park Dr. Carmel, IN 46032

We are anticipating a heavy turnout and it is strongly suggested that you pre-register online.  To register go to Pay Fees on the navigation bar and fill out the age appropriate form.  You may also register at the door starting at 11:00 on the 18th.

The 18+ and 28+ seasons will begin on April 29 and end with Championship weekend on August 26.  The 18+ will play and 18 game schedule with 14 Sundays and 4 Thursdays.  The 28+ will play a 16 game schedule with 3 doubleheaders and all games on Sundays.

The 35+ Division will begin on May 30 and will end with the Championship on September 26.

Tryouts for the 45+ will be announced soon.

You may play in more than one division if you are age eligible.  For the purpose of registration please select one.
