MSBL 28+ All-Star Game
|
|
July 9th 2008 - The nominations are in. The National Division is at 25 players and the American Division is at 21. Each team looks to be tough, with multiple Cy-Young winners and MVP's in the line-ups!
The game will be held at Brebeuf on Thursday July 24 at 7pm.
The American division will be managed by Ken Menser of the Titans. The Titans are currently 9-0 on the year and remain a strong contender for the championship as always. Menser will have to bring his roster up to 25, with pitching probably being his focus, as the American squad only had 4 or 5 pitchers nominated. Chris Cullina of the Brewers will steer the boat for the National division. The Brewers are 8-1 and continue their impressive turnaround from just two seasons ago. Congratulations to both managers, who are long time members of the IABL and currently fielding two of the strongest teams in any age division.
This should prove to be an exciting game with a pretty balanced roster for each team.
