IABL Yes Committee and Playball Indiana Glove Drive
April 22nd 2009 -
The first project of the IABL Yes Committee was highly successful.

The Glove Drive for Play Ball Indiana brought in a significant amount of baseball equipment.  Over 50 new and used baseball gloves along with two dozen baseballs, eight batting helmets, eight pair of cleats, six pair of batting gloves, three bats, three batting helmets, one catchers helmet, and one batting tee were collected.

Yes Committee Chairman Jason Shirrell made the presentation of equipment to Mike Lennox the Executive Director of Play Ball Indiana  last week.

"We will be getting all of this equipment in the hands of deserving kids very soon.  This will give these kids a chance to play with some quality equipment that they haven't had the chance previously.  I want to extend my thanks to Jason and the entire Indianapolis Adult Baseball League for this contribution to our program."  Said Mike Lennox.

Jason wanted to extend his thanks to the following baseball facilities for their assistance collecting the equipment.
